Super Template Tuesday

One of the sites we are working on right now uses the great open-sourceiness of ZenPhoto. It is the first time that we have used it for a project, but it fit all of the needs of this project. Namely, price (free) and usability (super-easy). The thing was so easy to set up, that I thought I had missed something at first. But no, it is just that good.

I had a worry about the theme though. The guts are PHP, but the CSS around it should have been very easy to work with; and it was. I’m still very new at some of this, but after pounding my head on a wall for some time looking for a themester to match our design, I gave up and jumped in with both feet while everybody else watched the election returns. I am happy to report that the theme is working like a champ, and I feel like a stud (and that should last about 30 minutes).

We can’t wait to unleash this site. It has many little items that we think are neat, and the content is the king.
